The Mideast Café is an online magazine primarily focusing on the history, peoples, cultures, languages, geography, and religions of the greater Middle East, North Africa, and Central and Southeast Asia. It also spotlights current issues of interest affecting these areas such as regional conflicts, freedom of speech, human rights' issues, fundamentalism, and relations with the Americas and Europe, etc. Further, it seeks to shed light on stories and narratives not often covered in the North American mainstream media.
